Multi-Factor authentication

Given local login is enabled, check local login a multi-factor authentication can be enabled for better security.

After logging in, navigate to your profile where you can see the "Multi-Factor authentication settings" section.

Enable MFA

Clicking on the "Enable MFA" switch will lead you to a page with instructions on how to add an Authenticator app as you MFA device.

Add authenticator app

Use an Authenticator app of your choice to scan the QR code or type the security key (in the gray box) manually. The app should then give you a 6 digit code that you should enter in "Step 2"

After entering the code you can press the Return / Enter key on your keyboard or you the "Verify" button on the screen.

Disable MFA

Given MFA is enabled on your account

Click on the "Enable MFA" switch in order to disable it. You will be presented with a confirmation modal.

Clicking on the "Confirm" button will disable the MFA.
