Chooser mode: Selecting files

DAM serves as a file provider to external systems. In order to supply a file, the external system needs to save a reference to which is created by a user choosing a file.

The act of choosing a file is done by opening the DAM UI in chooser mode. The technical aspects of implementing such a chooser is documented in Implement a file chooser.

This document focuses on how user would choose the image.

Step-by-step guide

To choose an image, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate through DAM to the image you want to choose.
2. Right click the desired image.
3. Select "Choose" from the pop up menu.
4. Select the original image or a cropping from the available selection.
