Creating an aspect ratio

Suppose we have a number of images from where we want to create a selection of desktop wallpapers. These images come in various formats, but we want to crop them so they have a 16:9 aspect ratio that fits most modern monitors.

Step-by-step guide

In order to properly crop the images, we must first define our 16:9 aspect ratio. This is done by following the steps below:

1. Click on the "Settings"-tab.
   
2. Click on "Aspect Ratios" in the left menu.
3. Click on the "Create Aspect Ratio"-button.
   
4. You are now presented with two input fields. Insert "16" into "Width" and "9" into "Height" or whatever values you want.
   
5. Click "Save".

After following these steps, you have created an aspect ratio that may be used when cropping an image.

A list of all the aspect ratios you have created can be seen under "Settings" -> "Aspect Ratios". These aspect ratios can be deleted or edited as you please.
