Findability

The “Findability” table contains metrics which show where the search experience can be most improved.

Step Guide

Imagine you are an E-commerce Assistant tasked with identifying phrases for improvement. In the following guide, we will walk through the process of enhancing the phrase "television" by utilizing the "Findability" table and exploring synonyms.

Step 1

You log in to the Search dashboard and look at the "Findability" table. You see that "television” has a low findability score and a low satisfaction score. You decide to investigate further.

Info

The "findability" score shows how well a search term helps users find what they're looking for. It's a percentage (0% to 100%) – higher scores mean users often take action (like buying something) after searching that term.

Info

The “satisfaction” score combines the findability score with the number of searches for a phrase. A phrase with fewer searches and low findability has a higher satisfaction score than a phrase with many searches and low findability. This helps identify the most urgent phrases to investigate.

Step 2

You go to your webshop and search for "television". You only get 4 relevant results.

You know that your webshop has at least 50 different types of televisions that you want to show. You try searching for "tv" and now you get at least 50 different types of television. You decide to investigate further in Search.
