Attribute groups

Attribute groups can be used to structure attributes as used on products, product hierarchies, and other entities that contain an attribute collection. Grouping attributes into attribute groups helps make attributes more findable, as they are shown in a more structured way when working with attribute collections.

Targeting attribute groups

Attribute groups can be targeted so that the attributes they contain are made available for certain purposes. The following list shows all possible targets for attribute groups and where they appear in the PIM UI and/or API:
